The Explorer 224270 is the current-generation 40mm Explorer — a direct descendant of the reference that accompanied Edmund Hillary and Tenzing Norgay to the summit of Everest in 1953. The 40mm Oystersteel case, smooth bezel, black dial with the classic 3-6-9 Arabic numerals, and the central orange seconds hand are the only elements this watch needs. It is maximally legible and completely without pretension. Factory warranty until 2030. A watch that performs wherever it goes — from Miami business to actual mountaineering.
