The Explorer II 226570 in Oystersteel with the Polar white dial is the more understated of the two current Explorer II configurations. The 42mm case is larger than the traditional Submariner/GMT format, giving the watch a bold presence without the dressier associations of the Datejust. The fixed orange GMT hand — a design element inherited from the original 1971 reference — provides a secondary time zone at a glance. An underrated piece in the Rolex sport lineup with consistent secondary market demand. Full set, excellent condition.
